'Twas the night before Christmas..
When all through the house..
Not a coin was stirring..
The rolls lay silently..
All lined up in a row..
In hopes that something wonderful might be inside..
Massive amounts of dimes, nickels, quarters and pennies did await..
Picked up at the bank after a call from a friendly teller..
So many were the coins that Santa could not lift the sacks..
And had to borrow wheels from the bank to get them to the car..
'Twas a daunting task..
But I was up to the challenge..
With glee I tore into the rolls..

The $200 in nickels did yeild a single silver nickel
The $1200 in quarters yielded no silver, but a single 1973-S proof
Would the $600 in dimes bring Chrismas cheer?

Slowly I opened each roll and poured them into my hand..
Clad roll after clad roll I dumped in the bucket..
And then, what was that sound that mine ears did pick up?
I heard a tinkle, tinkle tinkle..
My name is not Horton.. and I did not think it was a who I was hearing..
I looked in my hand and saw that though the first 35 coins in the roll were clad.. the remaining 15 were silver.. one of them even Canadian.
This made me wonder.. when someone is rolling dimes and they run out of dime to fill the roll do they reach over into the old pile to finish it off?
The next roll was all clad of course.. ah, back to normalcy.
The roll after that made a wonderous sound.. as I glanced in my hand I could see it was solid silver!
"It was beginning to sound a lot like Christmas!"
Could there be more?
I unwrapped clad roll after clad roll..
and after 10 rolls.. there was that sound again!
Another solid silver roll!
You just have to believe.. (and sort a lot)
I shelled another 20 rolls.. and they were mostly clad.. with a few one and two silve dime rolls
Then another solid silver roll!
I did not want these dimes to run out.
In the end I had saved 6 and a half rolls of silver dimes!
I was singing *Silver Bells, Silver Bells*
This certainly qualifies as an official visit from the Silver Santa
If your percentages are low.. just sort more. If your percentages are high.. just sort more

Great silver dime score HCBTT. Now if only you had posted it 2 minutes sooner it would be in the correct thread.
