Well, it's been a good day.

First I was at the bank and spotted a half in the tellers tray. Yep , a 1967.

Then AUBURN came from behind and whipped Alabama. Can you say War DAMN EAGLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D  :D

Finally, after being out of boxes since last Saturday (I was about to go into withdrawal) my boxes came in the the first one was decent.

I was able to get one more box of halves sorted this evening.
1 2008-S Proof
2 1968 40%
1 roll had a quarter (25 cent) in it. It still had 20 halves so it was long by 25 cents.

Black Friday I went shopping for . . . dimes of course. Picked up 3 Brinks boxes and $100 of String rolls. Managed to liberate 4 silver dimes.

Box 1: '62D, '64D
Box 2: '54D
Box 3: '62

String rolls were a skunk.

This is a UAE dirham (worth about 27c). The coffee pot is called a "Dalla" which is the traditional Emarati-Arabian "Coffee flask". ;)

Went to a BoA branch and asked for halves...78.00 and all skunks! The teller said that the woman down the line had 9 of the big dollar coins and would I like them...sure, I always take them!
Got a 1923 peace dollar in EF. That's a good day!

Good thing you didn't find too many.. otherwise it might have been hard to come up with enough to pay the mortgage.

I pay my mortgage with pennies.
