Please post your "State Penny" finds right here. There were a number of different complete sets of the state pennies, the 1975 set probably the most common.

The ones you buy don't count, only the ones you find sorting. I've found a few of these myself, and they really are cool. Let's see if we can find all 50 states.

So we have found ID,Ct,Nd,Ms and also Ca it is glued on to a tube for Franklin to sort the ones he finds.

I thought someone had stamped these themselves I have found, and still have, buried in my coppers a Nevada. What year I am not sure of though. I can't remember the other states I have seen. If I run into anymore I will be sure to post it here and send it to you for Franklins "keepers".

I remember posting the AK on a counterstamped coin thread on this forum somewhere. I've been looking for it, but can't seem to locate it. I found the AK a couple months ago. I've got a VA and a (non-state) Masonic one.

I had others from early on hand-sorting but just bagged them - wish I had kept them out.

whoever owns these state embosses must have done many over the years. i have a set of all fifty states rolled onto 1990 pennies. they were a GIFT from a friend who works in a coin shop. they were part of an estate they purchased. would not usually have kept them not being pre 82 pennies and all but it is a complete set and kind of cool.

the only stamped ones i ahve ever found in a roll had kennedy's face and one with the outline of the continental united states. will see if i can get a friend over with a camera to post pics.
