I put this thread up this morning for 2011 Indian Tribe finds. Has anyone else found an Indian Head between January 1 and now? If so, come to the tribal meeting here.

A well worn (AG-3) and slightly bent 1882 found on 1-1-11. My first Indian Head cent found in the wild.

Just pulled 3 out of a $50 bag! These have seen better days. Best one condition wise is a 1882 maybe ag-4.Then a 1893 and my oldest yet a 1865,both of those are pitted with few details. Still a thrill finding these old boys.

1897 I would rate it a VG. Found in Brinks box String and Sons paper wrapped. After a 2 year lack of finding wild Indians, this is the 2nd one in 2 months. Found one in late December 2010 - 1903.

Found a very nice 1882. If it had any remaining luster I'd call it an AU50, but it's merely chocolate with full details, easily legible liberty in headband. Actually my nicest IHC with the exception of a slabbed MS64 I bought. Surprised me to find one this good in the wild.

Went through a $25 box and found 2 Indians - a 1900 and a 1904. First ones after about $400.00.
