I needed the tractor yesterday. it had a flat tire. went to use the air compressor and the prong broke off of the cord. No worries I knew there were several in the scrap metal drum. As I dragged the drum out of the woodshed, to search I decided to sort it and take it to the yard.

100 of tin
21 of Al
16 of stainless steel.

Total was $26. Gave part to my 11 year old and bought a couple gallons of diesel for he tractor.
Got the.compressor re wired, the tire fixed. Then the sprayer wouldn't work. Got some more wire out of the copper scrap wire barrel. Cleaned the battery terminals ran new wire to the back of the tractor. The pump now runs. Just then the wife pulls in with the product I need from he Ag store. I realize there is a broken fitting on the spray rig! Look at my watch it is 5:40 the local hardware closed 10 minutes ago.

In all nothing accomplished today but a good day because my youngest son was with me all day and I was able to teach him a lot of things.

Saved a bunch of random old stuff from going to the dump on the annual church cleaning day, $30.65. Another member got four microwaves and a giant charcoal grill.
