HIGHLIGHTS OF SEPTEMBER'S SILVER SEARCHING:

LOOKING FOR A DEDICATED INDIVIDUAL TO CARRY THE SILVER STATS IN 2014. I WILL HELP YA' GET SET UP, BUT IT'S A BIT MUCH FOR ME THESE DAYS. SEND ME A PM, IF INTERESTED. (I WILL CONTINUE TO MAINTAIN THE COPPER STATS.) IF NOT, EVEN WITHOUT THE STATS, I WILL CONTINUE TO HAVE THE MONTHLY THREAD FOR ALL TO POST.

It's important to post your SKUNKS as well as your great SILVER finds. That keeps the statistics honest. I'll try to post some graphs of our SILVER finds as 2014 proceeds along by adding data to this initial post. I'll see if I can post some interesting insights into the data here in this initial post for 2014 too. Even though this is a national tabulation of all our finds, I think its fun to know what finds are being made and at what frequentcy.

It might be interesting to see how many Barbers, Walkers, Franklins, and 90% Kennedys are found too. Also, how many Barbers and Mercurys dimes we find. I'll try to keep track of all of these.

Now, go out and find that SILVER treasure!!

250.00 BWR dimes and 100.00 BWR nickels = double skunk! At least I got a 1938-S Jefferson nickel, one of the semi-keys!

50.00 CWR dimes and 2.00 loose halves = skunk.
But I did find a slick Standing Liberty quarter at the coinstar machine!

Since wifelet was out of town for a few days, and there was plenty of time in the evening, I got a box of dimes (well - actually - a bag of rolls - as the bank was out of boxes).

Found 2 1961 and a 1954.

170.00 BWR dimes = 2 1964-D, one of which is easily a MS-67. Better looking 50 years later than most of the 2014's I get!
68.00 BWR nickels = skunk.
