Thanks! I've been friends with the tellers at my bank for years. I search either 5 or 10 dollars face per week so it doesn't bother them too much. I tell them what I find and they tell me what they've found. When they get some CWR's in that they think might be "good" they will set them aside for me. I've been working on filling a Dansco album for Lincoln cents from 1909 to 2009 for 10 years. I haven't found any keys or semi keys yet, but I do have at least one of each date except for 1922 and 1933. It's a relaxing way to spend an hour or two each week. It's been a blast working on this album and I've actually gotten further that I did on the album I had in the early 70's. I want to get a blank album just to put all the counterstamps and other odd cents I've come across over the years.

Are you trying to fill the Dansco album strictly from bank rolls? If so, that will be extremely difficult, but I wish you luck.
Buy rolls NOW while you still can!

Yes, I'm trying to see just how far I can go with bank roll searching & circulation finds. I know I'll never complete the album this way but it's been a lot of fun over the years. I have all the memorial cents except for the 1960 small date. I have most of them in AU/BU except for a few of the "S" mints. I only need the 1943-S to finish the 41-58 wheats. Of course the pre 40's are super tough. I at least have one of every date now except for 1922 and 1933. The only semi key I have is a 1911-D. It's actually a coin my Grandmother gave me in the early 70's that was in my album when I was a kid. It's the coin that bridges the circulation set I had as a kid with the set I'm working on now. I upgrade a few coins and add a few new ones every year. I do purchase and enjoy "investment" coins as well, but this album is for the thrill of the chase and the nostalgia.

Bravo!

The joy of collecting for the fun of it needs the spotlight more. Good luck on your Dansco! And please give us updates.
