Stopped at one bank today, bought four loose half dollars - one of them a 1969. If I don't do this, somebody else will.

Ordered boxes from my buddies cu.
So $25, $100,$250,500,$500.
Sooooo hope they are not all new, like chase has been.

It’s been a while since I got halves at the bank. $4 today- no silver.

I am in a CU to get coin…..,. A lady walks in with a gallon baggie of rolled coin. So nice guy that I am, I ask how much. $49.50.

This time I lost out.

$35 dimes a few culls for my time
$10 nickels. Nada
$4.50 pennies about 4-6 percent.

Opened five rolls of half dollars today and pulled one silver (1964!)

Last roll, I thought it was short 5 coins. So I was going to count it.

Well now. The reason for looking, short. They were thin from wear.
