Scrapping a mobile home

Didn't someone on here scrap a mobile home? I can't seem to find the thread. I was wondering how it turned out.

That does seem familiar, but I can't find the thread either. I can only find your post asking about doing an RV back in April 2011.

I was on the scrap metal forum for a while and remember that scrapping a trailer was not very cost effective for those who tried it... but don't take my word for it.

Most of a mobile home is trash and needs to be taken to the dump. I've got someone willing to pay for the dumpsters if I tear it down. I'm wondering if the scrap would be worth my time.

That discussion was on old realcent.
If you could set it on fire, then recover the metal it would be worth it.
There are a mess of parts and pieces that would do well on ebay.
I had an RV. Little parts are ridiculous expensive!

Wow, that's funny. I didn't even find that one.
Most of what I found was about different member's work trailers.

Check with local fire department. May be willing to burn it down for training and just leave you the metal and glass to mess with.
