$90, mostly from the handyman neighbor who gives me scrap for beer.

2 aluminum truck rims, Romex wire, copper pipe and fittings, cast iron kitchen sink, and an aluminum window frame.
Pedal to the metal.

That must have been tough pushing in, I rember it was pretty tough when I pushed in 212lbs
of scrap steel last fall. (6 1/4¢ per lb.) Of course then I guess most of you guys don't use a
stray shopping cart to get to the scrap yard. ;)

Last load of steel was 175 Lbs. at 8 1/2¢ per lb.

Definitely the reason I took time out to haul some of my non-ferrous on Thursday. Now I need to get my light sheet in...quickly.

How did you come up with 440# of lead?

I'll post all the other stuff we dug out of the woods when I get to it hahaha

a friend had purchased an old house and the previous owner who was VERY OLD had a husband who back a loooonnggg time ago was a plumber. Lets just say brass, copper, probably over 4 tons of cast iron. Didn't hurt that we got to clean out a workshop, a small barn/shack, house, and basement either. Quite a thrill for an amateur scrapper who is just learning still for their first year. Tons of good stuff just waiting there for us. An old power line that was taken apart... hahaha probably over 100 pounds of copper.

$24 for various items.

Very large fuses have solid copper spades. Previously, the yard did
not accept fuses. I've been holding the blown ones I get from work.

One 250 amp fuse had a solid pound of copper when I hacked the spades off.
I had a bucket of smaller ones and hacked them too.

The yard took it at the same price as #2 copper pipe.
Pedal to the metal.
