Copper wire, aluminum, power supplies, motherboards, $58. Won't do aluminum anymore, .22 lb. is not worth the effort, the landfill can have it. And, I see and find aluminum everywhere, no wonder it goes to landfill, it's not worth anything. I scored about 20 lb. of christmas lights the other day, most of them work, not even worth the hassle to sell or recycle, back into the garbage. Same for the aluminum crutches, back to the dumpster, not worth the effort to scrap, somebodies insurance company paid for that I'm sure. China is being investigated for dumping steel, they make allot of aluminum as well, subsidized by cheap labor and electricity/coal.

Time to find another hobby that pays better.

Its funny the city here dose twice a year pick ups for bulky items in different parts of the city all year long. So much stuff is not getting picked up by scrappers it is taking the city longer to collect items and more items being dumped in the landfill. I am sure the city will want to raise their rates $16 a month fee (for trash & recycling pick up once a week and the 2 bulky brush days a year) as more items to pick up and discard...
