I would always pick up the tanks if full and use them up, now I can get rid of the old ones that the propane place will not fill up as they are too old and don't have the new safety overfill device in them.

hmm, they refused to take my spray paint cans, anything with a propellant unless there was a big hole.

I got 2 - 8' tall fake Christmas trees they are at least 125 lbs with the light strands on them. I removed the lights on one of them took a long long time. I may just keep the other lights on the other one when I take it in. Also several fake smaller topiary trees I removed the lights on them. So 98 % of the next load will be fake trees LOL I can't wait

Just shipped out 22,100 pounds of PCB boards from the warehouse. Like everything else, prices are dropping. Steel is going down $15.00 per ton tomorrow, putting my shread price at $165.00 per ton. Mid month corrections are never a good thing. No end in sight right now. If you can afford to stockpile your copper, etc, do it, but it will be a long haul so be prepared to wait it out.

We are setting on all PM bearing scrap for now, and anything we send out we get paid back in metals. Nothing like getting XX ounces of gold and XXX ounces in silver in the mail!

Futures predict $20.00 per barrel oil by the end of 2015. Metals seem to always follow oil prices. I'm thinking there are going to be some rough times ahead for our business.

I wish we were running a yard type business as you work on a margin, all the time, no matter what the market is doing. But, who wants the hassle?

Yep $.0325 net ton sucks the big one! If I see metal I will most likely still pick it up, but will not be looking for it like I was...

They want to see the CRV on the top of the can.
Also some places want them smashed from the top so the UPC code is not showing.
