I just got through watching the movie The Post and there was a scene where they were looking at the money from a lemonade sale and there was a $10 gold certificate in the pile. At least I think it was a gold certificate and if so could you still find those in circulation in the early 70s? So if you happen to go see the movie could you keep an eye out and let me know what you guys think ?

could just be prop money that is based off the gold certificate, but id imagine there were still a small handful finding their way out of old coat pockets, purses, mason jars, books, safe deposit boxes etc

my mom found some US 90% in an old purse she hadn't worn in a few decades
