Franklin has now talked is way into cleaning the junk out of three coin counters . And has three more banks saving all that they get for him. So we will post the finds each week!




First week
Today the bank let Franklin go to the back room and and got to help clean and keep the coin counter junk! We got three steel cents one of them the 43-S AU and a 1949 50 centimos espana! :D

It's a good thing that rimfire didn't get go off in the counter.

Nice little bonus. There's a few bucks worth of stuff there.

There's something about coin counters and earrings. Over the years I've found 10k, 14k and sterling in reject trays.

Thats a nice haul considerings it's free :!:

The 1st penny under the half dollar, under the dime, is that an off-center cent or 2 stacked cents?

I see another under the 4 leaf clover, so I guess I answered my own question :)

Fused together coins that why they were in the teller tray of the coin counter. :D

What was he for Halloween? A graduate? And did they not recognize that the SBA is actually a legal tender dollar?

Franklin was Martin Luther. As to the SBA I think most banks do not look in the junk tray each time they do a count. Not all coins make it out the coin return the one with gum stuck on them ect.

So-wheat....nice to get all that "junk"...Last week they let me have the "junk"...24 dimes from Trinidad among many others...mostly euros.
