Up to $38 with a day + 14 hours to go....what am I missing?????

I'm not sure but those are decent condition large cents. 1 US cent equal to the worst condition you have there would go in the $40 range pretty easily. So maybe that's just the market :)

I knew the 1891 was the large date but the front has issues. The 1876 H isn't that rare either. The 2 others again are not that rare. I am missing something in my research.

Seems to me Canadian Numi copper has been trending higher since the RCM announced discontinuing the cent. It is a nice group of coins.

You only have 2 bidders, might be some speculation on large/small date. I can't make a date call based on the one pic in the listing.

Two people in a bidding war can do that.

Haha, just enjoy the ride! I had a couple of my $18 face copper penny lots get multiple bidders, even though there are plenty of others to bid on... I just smile and shake my head... the more they go for, the more silver we get to buy! RIGHT?!?

The most classic "what are they thinking?" is when someone as Uthminsta indicated is bidding on something IDENTICAL to something else, one for a BIN at say $40, and the other an auction and they bid the auction above $40 when they could just hit "buy" for $40 :)

Again, don't sell yourself short. They're nice coins. Looks like you've got some pretty cool stuff in your other auctions too! Good job.

I have the ones you are selling and I did not pay what your bid is to. Nice looking coins. I got the 1896 for $1 http://www.realcent.org/viewtopic.php?f=13&t=11042#p147916 And the 1864 for 4 $ Canadian.http://www.realcent.org/viewtopic.php?f=13&t=11042#p111193

Exactly, I didn't think I had anything that rare. And, I didn't even notice the 2 guys bidding each other out. I hope they keep it up!
