It great to have a friend in Canada. 1925 Canadian Nickel

I just go some of the new Canadian notes in the mail. I traded mtalbot_ca a 1925 Canadian that I found him at the LCS and he paid me back in the new Canadian notes. It funny that I found a great price on the nickel here in the states. But there is no way I will find unc. note here at face. :o

Kinda straying from your thread...but while doing some heritage research last night....I found out that my Grandfather was born (1918) in Canada along with two other siblings and immigrated to the US in 1922, settled in Puyallup WA. I pull the Canadian coins when I see them.

Be careful when spending the new notes. they like to stick together
"The study of money, above all other fields in economics, is one in which complexity is used to disguise truth or to evade truth, not to reveal it. The process by which banks create money is so simple the mind is repelled. With something so important, a deeper mystery seems only decent." John Kenneth Galbraith 1975

Who's the chap on the 50? It's not the NHL commissioner, I know what he looks like.
