I remind my "anyone but Trump friends" of all the wonderful things that are happening since the election. I get no response. What is scary is its only been a few months of this.

I kept trying to tell people that yes, you can still do worse than Trump. My message only went so far.

No it hasn't been a few months it just feels like it's been months it's only been six weeks!!!!

In just six weeks he has shut down the Keystone pipeline, putting thousands of people out of work. Caused the price of gas to go up by 50 to 60 cents a gallon. Opened up the southern border letting in thousands of illegal aliens many of them Covid positive. And he is letting them come into the country and go wherever they want. Then he is going to sign a two trillion dollar Covid stimulus bill which has NOTHING to do with stimulus or Covid. (Only 9 percent of the two trillion goes towards Covid relief) Then when the Dems are done ramming that through they are going to pass another two trillion dollar infrastructure bill. We will be so far in debt it will trigger a collapse of the economy and cause inflation like no one has ever seen before.

Plus there are the dozens of executive orders that he has signed. All this and more in just six weeks.

In the interest of full and fair disclosure, 20 cents per gallon of whatever price you pay per gallon goes into the North Dakota state coffers (whether it is gasoline or diesel).
Former stock broker w/ ~20 yrs. at one company. Spoke with 100k+ people and traded a lot (long, short, options, margin, extended hours, etc.).

Please note that ANY stocks I discuss, no matter how compelling, carry risk- sometimes substantial. If not prepared to buy it multiple times in modest amounts without going overboard (assuming nothing really wrong with the company), you need to learn more about the market and managing risk. Also, please research covered calls (options) as well.

If you remove the state and federal taxes from the gas price it makes the percentage of increase even larger.

So what? Since Biden took office our gas taxes in North Dakota have NOT been raised. But the price of gas HAS.

Rising gas prices put a squeeze on everyone, but the lower classes are hurt the most, which I thought Old Joe was a champion for? Higher fuel prices are also past along to ship food, clothing and you name it making everything more expensive.

Some state gas taxes are a percentage of the price, where other states are a flat rate or combo.

In Indiana they are a percent of the total. I remember during Obama years when gas was high, the Indiana governor made a temporary change to lower the taxes to help those in need.
