i cant post a video from youtube on here anymore, only a link, and the youtube boxes appear, and one is highlighted, any help would be appreciated.

The shortened URLs don't work for embedding here.

You need to use the full URL from the address bar of your browser like this:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NmvVRsKQvJA

And make sure it is http:// not https:// . Just remove the s if there is one when you copy it.

that is it! the "s" was it! i was posting from both address bar and the share links, but it was definitely the s. thanks!

It took me awhile to figure out how to embed youtube from my Android, so I thought I'd share for those who haven't.
You need to open youtube through your web browser (chrome in my case), not the youtube app.
Then you need to open the menu (the three vertical dots in the upper right) and check the box for "request desktop site".
Once you do this, search for your video and copy the URL in the address bar and paste in your post here.
The "s" in "https://" still needs to be deleted as stated above.
I hope this helps any android users.
