"You can not make a post so soon after your last"?

So, I was typing a post in the quick reply box, and I hit submit, and it took me to the full edit page and said: "You can not make a post so soon after your last one." I hadn't posted for at least 2-3 minutes. I hit submit from the full edit page and the post went through. Has anyone had this happen and why did it happen?

I have not encountered that message, was the previous post made to the same thread or a different thread?

The post was on a different thread. Oh well, I guess since it only happened once it's "NotABigDeal". :lol: :lol:
