One Very Strange Roll.......

Postby PreservingThePast » Wed Dec 08, 2010 5:22 pm

Just sorted a very strange roll. It was a CWR, and unfortunately I have had it for awhile in my small stash just waiting to be sorted so I can't even remember where I picked it up. But even if it had been a current pick-up I wouldn't have transportation to get me back to the bank right away so it wouldn't matter.

It was correct on coin count. Always a good thing these days. :D

It had 45 wheats. My best wheat roll yet, surpassing my last best wheat roll by ten more!!! Three were pre-40 wheats,--1919, 1936D, & 1937.

The others were 40s and 50s but not all dates and/or mint marks were represented in the roll.

The strange part to me is the other five pennies were 1/1975 (only non-wheat Cu penny), then 1986D, 1991D, 2000 (NOT a Wide AM) and 2007.

AND, I couldn't even scream with joy as my voice hasn't fully returned. Sadly, Mr. PTP was home for me to share my joy with as he had to come home sick from work today.

Enjoy your coin searches, everyone. :geek:
