It is 5 bank bags of about $50.00 each. He offered them to me for $220.00 for the lot if I would haul them off, plus he wasnt sure how much was there and i didnt know either as a couple of the bags had been previously opened..........after I got them home though I weighed them up at 169 lbs.
He owned a ice cream shop in the 70's, & 80's. He still had the pennies left over that he never used.
The bags are dated March 1980 on the outside.
1 bag is loosed mixed circulated pennies, 1 bag is loose BU 1980 D cents (was partially sewn closed), 2 bags are hand rolled pennies, 1 bag is 1977 BU machine rolled rolls.
looks like i am going to be penny searching for the next few weeks.
