It was staying pretty steady for a while there, But as of right now it's down to $3.7078!
Any guesses?

Everything is volatile right now because of all the "currency wars" taking place.

That's what I was figuring, but silver has been staying pretty steady the last few days. Just seemed strange to me.

silver is manipulated so the price is fixed within parameters certain days.
copper has more industrial demand so is strongly affected by changes in expectations regarding economic activity. if people think the floodgates are going to open, then a lot of copper will be bought when the floodgates of money is spent.

Whenever the price of copper drops I simply adopt the perspective that this drop will serve to further postpone the general public from hoarding pennies in mass whereby giving me a better percentage of finds.
