Nic a Date

Does the Nic a Date product only works on buffs? I was wondering what to do about some of those dateless abes. Anyone have any tips?

I tried it on a Really cruddy wheat penny and it seemed to do nothing.
I did notice that on the label to their product they had listed several other products that they sold all starting with nic-a- XXXXXX
perhaps they have other stuff , I have not checked it out yet

I've got about 15 to 20 dateless large cents I'd like to know...

Those dateless ones are like blank tiles is Scrabble. You just plug them in whatever hole you need to fill.

Speaking of dateless stuff... I bought a dateless copper-nickel Indian cent, with a huge S stamped on it, just for the fact that it was cool looking. Turns out it didn't NEED a date. It's a one-year type... 1859. That's the only year that didn't have the shield at the top of the wreath on the reverse.
