36% copper

Postby Tantalar » Fri Jan 14, 2011 8:58 pm

36% Copper average over the last 4 boxes of the new year. I think that the box with 100 wheats in it really skewed things a bit hahaha. Can't believe that I only got a 1938 and 1935s and 1909. I have had amazing luck prior. I have noticed that this time I havent had very many canadians compared to how many I was getting in 2010. I guess Union bank and Webster bank are maybe different coin providers I dont know... but 36% copper, pretty good huh lol

with percentages like that you should try to buy as many as you can afford, even if you don't get to sort them for a while.

Depending on where you live, this may not be to far from the norm. My average over all the boxes I have done is around 25%. Take out the skunk (99% new pennies) and I am averaging around 30% copper pull.

Im getting 30% or so in the burgh also........with as many sorters in pittsburgh it seems like the percentages would go down but so far it hasn't must be a lot of old penny jars in the burgh being cashed in.........hope the numbers stay high for a few more years. Whick part of the burgh are you from ALEXTG? I have only gotten skunks cwr boxes from one bank in BETHEL PARK in the south hills and was wondering who dumps on south park road pnc.....they got a whole big wault full of zincolns(like 100+ boxes of them all cwrs in box)

Congrats on those numbers. Feel free to send some of those boxes my way. I am averaging @ 20% copper this year but at some point my fortune must turn.
