I've seen others post of these, so I suppose they aren't that uncommon... but it's a first for me. Found Illinois. Took me sorting about five million to find this first one. Yay!

I've hit a bit of a cold spell on these, too. I was finding about 1 every two weeks. I haven't found one in over 6 months or better. I thing the last one I found was South Carolina.

I've yet to find any state cents. I've found 3 Lincoln - Kennedy cents.

Never even heard of a Lincoln-Kennedy cent. What do they look like?

most of the ones ive found have been dated 1976

Lincoln Penny, with Kennedy facing Lincoln on the right side above the date. There was a long comparison of what Lincoln and Kennedy had in common, that the penny was glued to and sold.

Don't find the 'counterstamped' Lincolns very often (i.e.-Kennedy, US states, or some other marking), but just today I ran across a 1974 Lincoln with "SD" and the outline of the state stamped into it.

Rather find a 1914 D, though :lol:
