My first photo link so if I screw it up please bear with me.
Strange coin I found in the pennie rolls the other night....Any Ideas?
I can only view half of the photo How do I fix that? Sometimes when others have pics i can only view half of their photo also...?

aloneibreak good call that is what it is....you are correct on trying to make out the date...using any magnification and you lose everything but at arms length it looks to be 1947 but not sure....BIG THANKS TO jasmatk and aloneibreak for the links and to everyone else for looking and giving it a go.

I have found a lot of Dominican Republic coins are EXTREMELY worn...

Same thing with Haitian coins. I think because in poor countries people uses cash for everything, so the coins have high velocity. That's my personal theory.

I wonder if the mintage numbers are much lower...so it is to be expected that they are used more and have more wear.
