I've noticed that since 2012 Copper Bars and rounds cost about the same. Are they still under the "collectible" category? At what point do you think the prices will begin to fluctuate more. An ounce round still costs about $1 and pound bars are $6. I remember when they were $8.

I think the collector market for them is thin to begin with, and with stagnant cu prices even more so. Silver on sale at $19 oz is not helping.

They were selling briskly when copper hovered closer to $4 lb, and silver traded north of $28.

The good news is you're probably seeing the floor price at $1 for the ounce rounds. Considering the cost of production, etc, how much cheaper can they get?

I prefer silver as well. I want to add 20 of these copper rounds because they look nice. At $1 I'm a buyer.
