Canadian Copper Cache

Thought something might be up when I found two of these in one roll. In the space of just two or three boxes I found
1934
1937
1938
1939 x 3
1940 x 3
1941 x 2
1942 x 2
1943
1944
1945
1946
1948 x 3
1949
1950 x 3
1951 x 3

and one I hadn't seen before... 1943 Newfoundland. I know the George VI's aren't all that rare, but they're fairly scarce to discover in California, so I thought it was pretty cool. These I found just cutting rolls open, should find a few more when I feed them thru the Ryedale.

Pretty interesting. I've found a few older Canadians but never in that kind of quantity. :!:

I see from another link that they aren't very unusual at all. Someone else on this site has 120 rolls of them for sale :shock:

Very nice find. I also sometimes find American wheats, in Québes, from the 20's or 30's. We should organize a ''prisoner's exchange program''!!!
