Go Figure

Bid to $28.50 for 4.50 face coppers. If it ended right now that's about $633.00 for a CTU.

This seller has been steadily getting north of $25 for 3lb lots.

I think people are bidding so much because of the mention that there might be Indian cents included.
Former stock broker w/ ~20 yrs. at one company. Spoke with 100k+ people and traded a lot (long, short, options, margin, extended hours, etc.).

Please note that ANY stocks I discuss, no matter how compelling, carry risk- sometimes substantial. If not prepared to buy it multiple times in modest amounts without going overboard (assuming nothing really wrong with the company), you need to learn more about the market and managing risk. Also, please research covered calls (options) as well.

I thought that at first, but the description is fairly explicit. Plus, many of the bidders have hundreds of feedbacks...they can't all be dopes.

I think it is just appealing to gambling addicts. People are bidding in hopes of winning something worth more than their bid.

Actual lotteries or games of chance are against Ebay rules, but this type of thing usually goes over big on Ebay.

I should not have read this thread. Now I'm tempted to do the same thing. :? I'd be happy to mix in all of the wheats I've pulled out and the handful of Indians I've found if I could get anywhere near those prices. As long as your listing is honest and straightforward, I see no problems with taking as much money as someone is willing to pay. When the buyer and seller agree on a price, as long as there is no fraud or coercion, I see no problem. (Free market, baby!) But, on the other hand, I don't want to be "that guy."
