Darn Blizzard

Postby twentybux » Wed Feb 02, 2011 10:43 am

Went by the bank today to make my normal Tuesday pick up. I was advised that the delivery truck will be delayed a week due to the blizzard up north. So went home disappointed. Still have a little stash of pennies to search through (learned to stash away for a rainy or snowy day on the old forum...ie pictures that hcbtt posted of penny boxes stored in the garage). Still hurts not to have fresh batch to look through.

I had that happen to me a couple months back. Almost made me want to mix my copper in zinc back together, and sort it again!

That's rough. Was 81F here today, a bit warm. Supposed to cool nicely by tomorrow down into the 60s... :)

Ya know I always tell you guys to keep a small stash on hand for just this sort of thing

It was a chilly 61 when I left for work this morning. Warmed up into the 70's by mid-day. They are projecting mid 70's for this weekend. Perfect sorting and football weather.

Of course if you were to run out of pennies to sort, you could always hand sort your coppers to pull the wheats out.

Sorry for highlighting the weather; just couldn't resist ;) . HCBTT, I'll be envious of your weather as well by the end of Sep, after another long summer of 6 months of >90F with high humidity.
