By the way, I did try to find a penny on Feb. 12. Found 7 coins that day (4 Mexico coins, 1 Euro coin, US nickel and dime)- not a single one was a penny. The next day I did find a penny. Go figure...

Only pick them up off the ground if they have that "oxidated" copper look to them. 95% of the time, I am correct.

I did celebrate Lost Penny Day by finding a penny, nickel and dime. And yes I did it b4 midnight.
So it was a HUGE day for me.

I am always picking up lost pennies. Went to the gas station the other day looking on the ground while pumping gas and didn’t find a penny, but a quarter. That was enough to pay for 1 drop of gas.
