what does your spouse think about pennies?

I have to keep the amounts I bring home either secret, or (if she finds out) give a really lowball amount. I have explained the reasoning, but, like so many other people around here, she doesn't quite get the idea, and thinks I'm just throwing our (my) money down the drain. But that's okay- as long as she and the bank tellers continue looking at me like I'm from Jupiter, I'm ahead of the curve.
We agreed that whether she ever approves of the idea or not, she will not spread word of my "problem", with others- so far, I'm about the only person in this neck of the woods who hoards, which is the way I like it.
