I have a strange inheritance. My uncle passed away in the 70's. He spent the better part of his life finding, collecting, and cataloguing Lincoln-error pennies. Most pennies are in a sleeve (some have slipped out), and he wrote on each sleeve a description of the error. Here are some examples of the descriptions he wrote:
• "1953 Double D West Rare"
• "60 Lg Date wobbly zero"
• "Bottom Vertical of last 4 thin & slanted"
• "53/BU states "LDERTY."
This collection has not been looked at by anyone. I have a friend on RealCents (Elcid69) that has looked at a handful of these, and I probably have about 1000 of these pennies. He suggested that I join the forum to see if there is anyone that could help me understand the significance of this inheritance.

Have you had any luck finding out the significance of your inheritance?

Maybe if you post some pictures here that would be good. There are a lot of smart members here who can give you feedback
