Well, I for one hope HoardZincByTheTon makes the transition over from the old site. He always had something to say about the benefits of zinc cents.

Sounds like a conversation one would overhear while evedropping an insane asylum :geek: :ugeek:
If I have the gift of prophesy, and know all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have all faith, so as to move mountains but do not have love I am nothing. And if I give all my possessions to feed the poor, and if I surrender my body to be burned but do not have love it profits me nothing.

LOl just picked up about 300 face from a guy to sort and he mentioned as I was walking out the door that sure is a lot of copper to haul. I kindly mentioned that 80% were most likely just copper plated and it seemd to blow his mind!

I am up to about 1000 face in copper pennies. That is about as far as I think I will go unless I can pick up the odd roll here and there of already sorter coppers, plus what I can sort out of my change. Anyone thinking about going to Nickels?

Encourage everyone to tear it all out of your homes and replace w/ that real high quality plastic stuff, kinda makes me feel like bennyboy

So, I just found a well worn 1919 in the latest buncha rolls I bought. Felt like I won the lottery.

For hand sorters I think the anticipation of the CrackerJack prize in every roll is what make this activity so much fun. This is the oldest coin I've found roll searching.
