Moving pennies

Several years ago I sold off the bulk of my copper pennies.
Bittersweet moment. I recently discovered a few boxes of unopened/unsorted boxes. (Thinking they are from 2008 time period).
I had a "connection" back then (and a backer) so I bought with both hands.
My vision doesn't allow me to sort like I did then.
Shipping today doesn't make sense because of costs.
Craigslist isn't an option (too many scammers and other nefarious individuals.
Coin shop will take them at face if I buy their overpriced 90%.
Back to the bank?
Thoughts.

I have many boxes (mainly skunks) that I've never opened from 2010, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, etc.

I'm just going to keep them in the boxes unopened. 30-40 years from now they may be worth a fortune.

I have a few I won't part with YET.
Back in 2009, Chuck ( Hoard) educated me about those boxes of crappy zincoln "presidency" Lincolns I kept getting. I even traded a few boxes/rolls on here with when the group was growing exponentially.
Through the education and trading I managed to acquire a complete set of BU bank boxes, the four part series of the 2009 pennies
Both P and D.
KEEPERS- Last set I saw went for over $1000.00

If you have a coin club in your area, I’d consider taking the boxes to a meeting and seeing what you can get for the coins.

I used to belong to one long ago. Everyone got paranoid about new guys and it broke up. I'm way to busy right now and while the "profit" might be nice., it is too time consuming to try to find one. I'm downsizing and liquidated the bulk of my collection long ago.

Last set of *what* went for over $1000? Eight cents, four 2009 D's and four 2009 Ps - one of each type - went for $1000?

Full sealed bank boxes of $25.00 each. One of each in the series both mint marks

So a full set of uncirculated is worth 5x face... Ok

It's worth what someone will pay.

I'm also a bit dubious... But according to PCGS sales comps, MS-67 graded examples of the various 2009 cents sell at $500+, and MS-68 at $2,000+. So I guess I could see someone dropping $800 (plus grading fees), betting that they could find enough gems to turn a profit.

Still, finding that buyer is probably a needle in a haystack.
