D and P 1982

Postby cwgii » Sat Sep 24, 2022 12:07 am

Ocd or bored.boreed
I was weighing out the 1982's and decided I needed to separate the D P.

Is it a matter of AZ being closer toDenver or ????

I went back through the1982 that I just labeled CU.

Findings that made me pose this question.
5 rolls of P
18 of D.
Thoughts??.

It stands to reason - and has been observed - that P coins are more plentiful in the east, and D coins more so in the west.

I wonder if Denver was still minting copper and Philly switched earlier?
