Now that is a major accomplishment! Congratulations!!!

After reading of the great finds from nickel boxes I got my first one and it didn't yield any really exciting finds. Just a '38 Jefferson in AU+ condition so that was an upgrade coin for my album and a 2009 nickel for the kids' anniversary jar.

Continued success!

Enjoy your coin searches, everyone. :geek:

I'd be doing back flips if I found 44 war nicks in a box! Some folks got all the luck! Good job! I need to get more nickels.

I just sorted through about one hundred fifty nickels I have been saving over the past few years out of change. I was suprised at the paucity of 40's and 50's; only ten years ago I could find quite a few in change. I did find a 1940 in AU condition though. :D

Oh, woops, I get it now. Well that makes it less exciting, but I would be happy finding a buffalo as I have still unsuccessful in my hunts.
