most returns for least amount purchased

I bought $10 in nickels in CWR from my purchase bank on a whim while buying my usual pennys for the weekend. Got a war nickel and a dateless buffalo. Not bad for 5 rolls. Does anyone else have remarkable finds from a small purchase?

I "bought" one roll from the coffee fund at work and it had a war nick, along with a couple from the 50s, and a couple from the 60s. about a half hour later I saw a lady with eight or nine rolls with the same wrappers in her backpack. I asked if she wanted to get rid of them.......and they were all skunks. So one war nick and nine or ten rolls for the nickel hoard. I was happy.

I also got ten rolls from Wells Fargo the other day when I took my kid to cash her paycheck. I was pleasantly surprised to get a war nick in that lot as well.

My 2nd set of 5 rolls I have searched I had found 1 war nick. and 3 50's and a couple 60's. Also I think 5, 2009's from 2 sets of 5 rolls each.

1/3 of the way through a $100 box and I found a 1939, 1 silver war nickel, 1 1959 and about 10 from the 1960s.

I bought 5 rolls and all 5 rolls were from the 40's and 50's. NO Silver. The teller saved them for me.

I was playing the nickel "slots" at vending machines at work. I got a 1938 VF. Obviously dumped from someones collection. It was way too nice and shiny to have been circulated much.
