I've normally seen 2-2.50 over spot for Engelhard bars. You may pay a bit more for the old poured-style bars.

I can often get one ounce engelhard bars for the same price as rounds, nothing pretty mind you. Strange, but the larger the bar the more the premium goes up on them. Given a choice I would take an engelhard bar over a generic bar but I won't pay the high premium on them anymore. But hey, that's just me.

Have to agree with Ardent Listener. At one time I acquired alot of Eagles, Maples, Kooks, etc., but for the last few years I've concentrated on getting the most weight I can for the money. When I was younger and less experiened I practiced quanity over quality regarding women, and quality over quanity regarding silver. Now that I'm more experienced and wiser I have reversed my stand on both. :D
If you are waiting for the "correction" to buy you need to realize that the increasing prices ARE the correction.

$100 Silver soon coming to a location near you.
