Sometimes you take for granted a place like this.... and being down all day, I like some of you probably were, was jones-ing for my Real Cent! I had the page up refreshing it since noon yesterday. Anyways, back to your regularly scheduled stacking

I'm still hoping it will break down below $18.00

It's always a bad day when the server goes down at RealCent. Probably all those KSA's over the weekend killed it.

I'm still hoping to once again see the day when my LCS was selling common Peace dollars for $15 and Morgans for $16. I used to love cherry picking through his tray searching for XF pre-21 Morgans for just $16

Sorry for the downtime guys. It had nothing to do with the KSAs and everything to do with Bluehost dropping the ball, yet again. I have some ideas and know what I would like to move Realcent to, but I have a busy month ahead and it's going to take some time for me to figure out the new architecture and do some testing. If I can pull it off, it would mean elastically scalable hosting that can be automatically ramped up when needed (i.e. KSAs) and scaled back to minimize costs during times of lower traffic, and it would all be "on the cloud" so to speak for increased redundancy and reliability.

I'm not sure how well suited they are to Realcent's needs as far as the technical
requirements of running a message board but the DNS provider I use also does
hosting now as well:

http://www.easyweb.com

I don't use them for hosting because for a variety of reasons I like running my own
server box on my own premesis. However they've been incredibly reliable for DNS
and E-mail for the aproximately 14 years I've been using them.

They might be worth a look.
