You guys that have been hoarding it for a long time are sitting pretty, but for me I need the prices to drop so I can buy more. Oh well, like beauaneros said, we'll see what happens.

Back in the Jimmy Carter gold and silver boomtown days, I furnished an entire apartment with good quality new furniture for $42 face in US 90% silver coins. I'd pulled those from circulation over the years and most were slicks and culls I was saving for such an occasion.

My daughter is in college and I'm constantly dividing the tuition each semester by the number of silver ounces it'd take to continue her education. To quote Buzz Lightyear, "Infinity and beyond" would be my preferred pricepoint for silver.

As a silver bug, I sleep quite soundly at night. ZZZZZZZZZZZzzzzzzzzzzz

Wow, up 3.5 % today. If you have 10 grand in silver you just made 350 bucks today! Of course with the rest of inflationary pressures you are just keeping your wealth while the rest of the non-bankster class are being robbed. I heard on NPR that the Federal Reserve thinks inflation is too low and wants it higher so more quantitative easing is in the works. There is still a way to go in this bull market!
"If the American people ever allow private banks to control the issue of their currency, first by inflation, then by deflation, the banks and corporations that will grow up around them will deprive the people of all property until their children wake up homeless on the continent their Fathers conquered....The issuing power should be taken from the banks and restored to the people, to whom it properly belongs."

It does make you think and look back.

Do you folks that have been stacking awhile remember when:

1. Junk broke 4 times face then to add insult to injury it broke 5 times face - highway robbery. :x

2. When you had a really hard time with the concept of paying more than $10 for a SAE. :?

3. The day it hit you that you couldn't walk into a shop with a $50 and walk out with a nice 10oz bar.

It all seems a bit surreal now.
If you are waiting for the "correction" to buy you need to realize that the increasing prices ARE the correction.

$100 Silver soon coming to a location near you.

Yeah, I can remember from that time frame having to outbid other ebayer's. Once I had to go as high as $335 for a $100 face lot! Can you imagine? What was I thinking! :?

You promised yesterday not to jinx the thing, and it worked. But now down goes the metal...

Seriously, I realize this is a slight "correction"; hopefully we will see a return to the historical norm of a ratio of 15:1 [Gold:Silver] soon! :D
