$45+ per ounce. No thanks!
Former stock broker w/ ~20 yrs. at one company. Spoke with 100k+ people and traded a lot (long, short, options, margin, extended hours, etc.).

Please note that ANY stocks I discuss, no matter how compelling, carry risk- sometimes substantial. If not prepared to buy it multiple times in modest amounts without going overboard (assuming nothing really wrong with the company), you need to learn more about the market and managing risk. Also, please research covered calls (options) as well.

It makes you wonder who their target audience is, how dumb they think they are, and how a total disregard for brand trustworthiness helps them.

I sometimes see things on HSN (as I'm flipping channels at ninja speed) that catch my eye. I back up to take a longer look. I think...'hmm, that looks like a good deal', and I watch further. I've even purchased a few items over the years, and all worked as advertised, even if I came to find out later perhaps a bit overpriced.

But this silver thing is just silly. Anyone with an internet connection and a calculator app can see that this is a 100%+ markup...while their pitchmen make it sound like a screaming deal.

Far as I'm concerned that's my takeaway. HSN = 100% over market.

When I see those HSN type of salesman, they remind me of the 1980’s sleazy televangelist. Just buy this overpriced Kilo of silver, these valuable 1982 proof sets, they keep fleecing the flock so he can buy a private jet.
