Silver snatch up at flea mkt.

I watched at a flea mkt yesterday as a guy snatched up every 40% half that a seller had on his table. I know the seller usually has decent prices on all of his items overall, but this guy was acting like he just found gold. It was weird.

I would love to know how much he paid per coin.

I'm guessing $2 or $3 each, knowing the seller.

$3 is a nice bargain. $2 is criminal. I would have charged 4 dollars apiece with a volume discount of say around 3.50 to 3.75 per.

About how many halves did he buy?
Former stock broker w/ ~20 yrs. at one company. Spoke with 100k+ people and traded a lot (long, short, options, margin, extended hours, etc.).

Please note that ANY stocks I discuss, no matter how compelling, carry risk- sometimes substantial. If not prepared to buy it multiple times in modest amounts without going overboard (assuming nothing really wrong with the company), you need to learn more about the market and managing risk. Also, please research covered calls (options) as well.

I saw him pulling out maybe 4-5 in a bit of a hurry.

Gotta be careful at flea markets. I've seen many fake coins over the last 10 years, usually silver dollars and ASEs.

They looked dirty/tarnished in the 10 secs that I saw them so who knows.

I'm about to go into a pawn shop to see what they have today.
