My 1988 s proof coin story

A flea market that I go to always has cool stuff. When I went a week ago, I spotted a case for an '88 olympic coin. Everything was there but the coin, even the COA was there! I'm thinking someone 5 fingered it. I bought some other things from the guy and he threw in the case.

Came home, went online, and found an auction for a coin missing the case! Voila :)

Great story! Add "matchmaker" to your resume.

There are people who have made entire niche businesses in collectibles just finding orphan pieces from sets and "marrying" them off and selling them complete for higher prices.
