I always check the coinstar machines but never find anything in Portugal. A few weeks ago we were at Carrefour in Seville, Spain and I finally got a hit! A 1947 Peseta.

A bit of a pullback for July tends to be typical, with both parties (customers abandoning coins and me there to scoop them up) taking breathers to beat the Vegas heat. Totals were naturally down as a result, though I managed to eke out a bit of silver and one new foreign country. In my quest to beat 38 nations, some common ones that have not yet shown this year are Australia, China, Israel and Saudi Arabia. Let's see if I can tick off one or more of them in August.
