Hey all, I'm new to the forum...
Here's what I got:

Went to my local bank and heard the teller mentioned that a little girl turned in some old coins. I asked if she (the teller) still had any of them. She says, "Just this one," and holds up a buffalo head nickel. I ask if I can have change for a dollar in order to get the nickel. She happily changed it in. I got a VG 1936 buffalo nickel. Good deal. Other than wheats, I hadn't found anything in circulation in a long time.

sitting with 4 boxes in front of me waiting to sort. at about a 20% find rate i should find about 15 or 16 pounds. I do about 30 boxes a month so 120 pounds a month. I keep 60% and sell or trade 40%. I can't find much silver down here so i try to trade for some silver and gold. Great thread i'm interseted to see what others are getting.

I was in line behind a guy who was turning in a bunch of rolled coins. I waited for that teller and bought all the pennies and nickels in turned in. $30 in pennies and $40 in nickels. The pennies were 95% Cu and had 178 wheaties. In the nickels, $30 were pre 1961 and I found a 1950D, 1939d and s, 3- 1955, and 29 WN. 1st 50D that I have found.
