Let me guess...they look at you like this

Yep, been there done that. That's another reason I find Sundays more rewarding. The kids on duty just want it to be 4pm and time to get out and enjoy the day.

You would love to watch Franklin on the Cummins counters he just opens them up pulls all the coins out cleans out the cup inside and then asks the tellers if they had saved any coins for him. On other ones he just yells out who has the key and they open them up for him. From http://www.realcent.org/viewtopic.php?f=21&t=11606&hilit=Counter

Cummins Jet sort -- You can pull coins of the magnet by sticking your fingers under were the coin go in and pull them off with out having to get a teller.

got a g/vg 1931 George nickel, and one of my penny rolls yielded a 1900 Indian. I was lucky to see it; I popped open the roll in the lobby.

18.83 CA 2.05 US

I wanted to see if I could hit $100 for a calendar month, and I think today's pickings put me at 108.92

Now it's golfing season. I won't be posting anymore Arcade escapades until Nov/Dec...unless I find a 1 oz gold Maple Leaf

:shh:

$100/month - not bad. Not enough to live on, but a good supplement! I wonder what an all-scavenger lifestyle could yield if it was properly designed. Trouble is that you need capital to optimize it.

Are you all sending your stuff to AGgressive Metal? Or saving it for a trip up north? Or what?

I sent my Canadian (except the nickel nickels) from last year to AGgressive Metal in a trade for other .999 nickel. My CDN steel accumulation since then (small potatoes compared to the big dogs - I've probably only got 30-40 bucks) is being saved for a stop-over in Vancouver during a larger trip we're making in May.

That's too bad. Been there.

It's too cold for golf (again), so that left me with a free Sat morning. These 3 dogs were jammed in the spin cycle at my third stop. Might be hard to see in the pic, but someone put a cheap bezel around the Morgan. I'll pry it off when I get home.

Thanks to 2 toonies & 1 looney, today's total was 17.58

Besides the Morgan and two Ikes, one of my bought dime rolls yielded a '47 dime. One of the penny rolls had an AU+ 1939.

Funny bit: as I was pulling coin off the magnet at my next to last stop, I looked up to see a gun and a uniform. I thought it was an armed courier for the bank...the guy was holding a cloth coin bag. Figured I was in trouble, but it turned out to be only a town cop waiting his turn at the Arcade
