The 1898 was an ender! Second time I've had one.

Finally!!!! I didn't find any last year and it looked like this year was going to be dry as well. I found a 1907 and then later in the same bag a 1883. Also found a 1943 steel cent in the same bag.

This weekend found beat 1906 and a very nice 1895 in cwr's. Went alomost a year without seeing one, now I have found 4 in last 2 months.

Awww...you could have fetched like $100 from some poor sucker on ebay listing it as an "unsearched" roll, what a waste!

Plucked out a 1897 that is a little bent and nicked up, but it still counts for the tribe!

My 12yo daughter and I discovered a 1906 in a BWR about a month ago (November)!! She was instantly hooked.
