Sorted 80 rolls recently ($160 face) roughly 70 % bwr

48 pre 1960 with the oldest being a 1938

9 Canadian nickels including two .999

Sorted 20 CWR yesterday ($40 face) with excellent results:

17 pre 1960 including TWO wars and a 1938
Batch also included 7 Canadian nickels - 4 of them .999


I then Sorted 10 bwr ($20 face) with POOR results, pulling only a '46 and a '56

Pulled a WAR nickel, but other than that only 12 nickels from the 50's. Out of 30 machine wrapped rolls, I found only one nickel older than 1952. Yikes! I'm lucky that it was a war nickel.

After not sorting nickels for all of October, I went on a binge to start this month.

$300 face 11-1 to 11-11 CWR/bwr mix

56 1949 & older including TWELVE war nickels, a no date buffalo, a 1938 and a 1941 in solid AU condition

41 from 1951 - 1959

97 total nickels pre 1960

24 Canadian including 5 .999

Also pulled six dimes - 3 in one roll (CWR obviously)

Note: 8 of the 12 war nickels were in one roll (again, CWR obviously)

$200 bag...32 keepers, odds.. ugliest proof a 73 s, caught just a glimmer of the polished fields, very hard to see date, to the point of,, scratching at it.
