7/5 - 2 Loomis $500 boxes of halves

7/5 roadtrip across the Blue Ridge into Mosby territory

$243 of halves yielded only 2 keepers: '67, '69D

7/8 $1000 bag of dimes

'42D, '59 x 2, '59D x 2, '61, '64D

7/11 another roadtrip into the Valley picked up $517 of halves:

'64 x 2, '65 x 2, '66 x 8, '67 x 7, '68D x 12, 69D x 8

Found my first ever solid roll on this trip -all 40%ers- but a real thrill.

Purchased a Gatorade yesterday on my way to play 18. Heard that sound (you all know the one) as the coin hit my hand. I didn't look to see what it was until I got back into the Jeep. Sure enough a nice AU 1964 Silver quarter.

This is the First silver quarter I have EVER got back in change. 3-4 dimes in my time......but never a quarter.

One interesting thing was that only 1 box of 4 had silver and all of that silver was in the same roll.

My dimes in Brink's boxes come in clear plastic rolls. Very easy and I edge search them.
